Es ist hervorragend für wenig belastbare Komponenten geeignet, die nur niedrige Schraubenanzugsmomente zulassen (z. B. emaillierte Flansche, Kunststoffflansche, Glasrohre oder glasfaserverstärkte Kunststoffkomponenten).

Oberhalb von 85 °C ist novaflon 100 für den Einsatz in Säuren prädestiniert.
